Business Writing
Hi there! My name is Ffion Llwyd-Jones, and I’m a wordsmith, and content specialist. What does that mean?

I tell your business story: Who you are, what you do, how you do it – and how all of that comes together to solve your customer’s challenges. So, when I work with you, we decide the best way to tell your business story.

‘CONTENT‘ (a word that covers all kinds of writing, images, and videos) = USEFUL INFORMATION

So, good content provides useful, sometimes actionable information. It also provides value.

For example, an employee newsletter may inform staff about new contracts (and job opportunities), company expansion, and celebrations (such as promotions, new employees or even weddings). It might even include health & safety articles, or an employee profile.

Or, a new or refurbished website might include stories about the company’s history, or the thinking behind a new brand, or photographs of the Executive team. And perhaps a short, catchy video.
Professional sectors, such as executive recruitment, accounting, or law  often use though-leadership/case studies to show how the depth of their expertise and knowledge has solved client challenges.

So, content = information with a purpose for a targeted audience.  It can be words, photographs, images, short video or audio clips. Its purpose is to educate, inform, entertain – and keep your company and business front of mind.
